JANUARY 2008 HIGHLIGHTS

Here are the highlights of the dice added in JANUARY 2008

EVENTS OF PARTICULAR NOTE

   The website underwent a facelift over the holidays ...
        new base page ...
        new buttons ...
        new color scheme to match the forums (see below) ...

   DiceCollector.com has also moved from its old webhost to GoDaddy.com
     I chose this webhost due to the great experience I have had with my girlfriends site

   Yes ... I have heard some complaints about GoDaddy ... But I have not experienced ANY

   The reason I moved was that I am now hosting collections from other collectors
      and did not feel it is right to use BMEZine.COM's webspace that was so graciously donated for
years ... to host info that was not mine - Thanks for all the great time Shannon and Jonathon

    Along with the host move ... I discovered that GoDaddy offers free forum software

        As such ... I just had to create the Dice Collector Forums ...

Several people have been discussing the D1 / D<infinity> ... so I decided to go ahead and design
and have one made (see below)

There is a new 'Worlds Smallest Die'

Koplow released a new catalog (16 part 2) with a large number of new release dice

DICE OF PARTICULAR NOTE

	This is the real thing ... although I dont count this towards the actual count for the collection ... as it isnt really a die This is a trick (weighted) cue ball from CueSight and engraved by CHESSEX

	This set is from a new company called Scenario Dice I hope to add their entire line soon so that I can have a dice theme for them

	This is a neat spinner die that I traded for with a fellow collector in Singapore

	This is a another die from the above trade ... it isnt remarkable ... but I discovered that 'charging' a glow in the dark die ... with a black light ... is much more effective

	Another trade die ... can anyone identify this symbol?

	These dice from a company called Unicorn ... seem to have been produced for BOAC

	This is an oriental hockey team (who knew?) die for the One on One hockey game
